How it works

One process. Three ways to run it.

Buying a business is not about finding a good listing. It is about running a process: define what you are hunting, read the numbers the way a lender does, structure the money, make a credible offer, verify everything, close. You choose how much of that process we carry.

Three ways to work with us

Same process. You choose how much of it we carry.

Every path runs the same playbook: define what you are hunting, read the numbers the way a lender does, structure the money, make a credible offer, verify everything, close. The difference is who does the work.

Path 01

Alongside our team

A small group of serious buyers guided through the full process on live weekly calls. The complete playbook, templates and checklists, plus real deals taken apart together.

  • Live weekly calls with our deal team
  • Your deals reviewed in the room
  • Templates, checklists and the real numbers behind every lesson
  • Momentum to a first real offer in your first 90 days

For buyers who want to run their own search with a team checking every step.

Path 03

Done for you

Our team takes the wheel: we source the business, run diligence, structure the financing and negotiate through close. You stay in on every strategic decision and you are the one who signs.

  • We find and screen the businesses
  • We run diligence and structure the money
  • We negotiate with the seller and lender
  • You decide, you sign, you own it

For business owners and busy professionals who want the acquisition handled.

The playbook

Built around how deals actually close

01

The money, in plain English

SBA loans, bank loans, borrowing against equipment and inventory, seller financing, private credit. Which lenders say yes, and how the pieces combine so your own check is the smallest piece of the deal.

02

A defined buy-box, not endless scrolling

Know exactly what you are hunting before you look at a single listing. Screen 50 to 100 opportunities down to the 3 to 5 worth real work, with a yes-or-no on any deal in minutes.

03

Diligence that catches what kills deals

Read tax returns and financials the way a lender reads them. Spot inflated earnings, customer concentration, and hidden problems before your money is committed, not after.

04

Momentum in your first 90 days

A defined target, a financing plan, and a first real offer inside your first 90 days. The median self-guided search drags on for about 20 months.

They think buying a business is about finding a good deal. It's not. It's about running a process. Skip a step and you either don't close, or you close on the wrong thing.
The process

From first call to keys in your hand

Buying a business is not about finding a good listing. It is about running a process. Skip a step and you either do not close, or you close on the wrong thing.

Getting started

It starts with one call

01

Book a free 15-minute call

A phone conversation, not a pitch. Where you are, what you want to buy, whether this is realistic for you right now.

02

We tell you which path fits

Alongside our team, one-on-one, or done for you. Based on your cash, your time and how hands-on you want to be. Or we tell you it is not the right moment.

03

You start running the process

Buy-box defined, financing plan in hand, first real offer inside your first 90 days. Then diligence, closing and your first days as the owner.

Be honest with yourself

Is this actually for you?

This is for you if

  • You have real money set aside for a purchase, roughly $100K or more.
  • You want to buy within the next six to twelve months, not someday.
  • You would rather buy something proven than gamble on a startup.
  • You will do the work. Any background: corporate, trades, existing owners.

This is not for you if

  • You have nothing set aside to buy with yet.
  • You want passive income with zero involvement. This is ownership.
  • You want a course to watch on the couch.
  • You are looking for a guarantee. Nobody honest can give you one.

Questions people ask before choosing a path

What is this, exactly?
A business buying advisory. You are the buyer, and we work with you to find the right business, know what it is really worth, get the financing approved and close. Depending on how you want to work together, we either guide you through every step while you stay in the driver's seat, or we do the heavy lifting for you. We are not the seller's broker, and we do not lend you the money.
How much cash do I really need?
For an SBA loan you generally need to put in at least 10% of the purchase price yourself. From October 1, 2026 that 10% cannot be reduced, though a seller note on full standby can cover up to half of it. Plan on real six figures of your own money for a $1M+ business. Anyone promising you can do it with almost nothing down is selling you a story.
How long does this actually take?
On their own, the average buyer takes around 20 months, and roughly 4 in 10 never buy at all. Our process is built to get you moving in your first 90 days: what to look at, how to pay for it, and how to make a real offer. Finding and closing the right business still takes as long as it takes, but you will not be wandering.
Do I need experience or a business degree?
No. You need judgment, discipline and a process. Our members come from corporate jobs, the trades, and existing businesses. What you do not know about reading a P&L or structuring a loan, we teach in plain English.
Am I personally on the hook?
Yes. With almost every SBA loan you personally guarantee it. If the business cannot pay, you are responsible for the debt. We would rather you understand that now than after you sign.
Do you find deals for me?
That depends on how you work with us. Alongside our team or one-on-one, we walk you through the whole process while you stay in the driver's seat. In our done-for-you service, we do the heavy lifting: we help you find the business, run the due diligence, structure the financing and stay with you all the way to close. Either way, you are the buyer and the one who signs.
What kinds of businesses can I buy?
Boring, profitable, established businesses: services, manufacturing, distribution, trades, franchises with a track record. Typically $1M to $10M in price, with real profit and a reason the owner is selling. Not startups, not turnarounds.
What is the call?
Fifteen minutes on the phone to see whether working with us fits your situation. We look at your cash, your timeline and what you want to buy, and give you a straight answer either way. No obligation.
